Event website design
Interactive website
An interactive website design for a series of events within Cancer Research UK. The brief was to transform the way the audience engaged with event information. I took this design from a print PDF format to a digital, interactive programme, capable of live updates and post-event content. Geared towards a research audience, this design is clean, simple, engaging, and fully responsive.
Note: sensitive information has been swapped out for GDPR reasons. While text displayed shows Lorem Ipsum, this is a real project that was created for Cancer Research UK.
INTERACTIVE
Above, you'll see an example of the hover feature on the desktop version to display speaker information while reducing page scroll length. A back to top button was also included on desktop and mobile views to help navigation.
Below, you'll see the hover feature in action on the Agenda page.
RESPONSIVE
This design is fully responsive allowing attendees to access the website at the event on their device.
Hover functions have been adapted to hotspots for mobile view to help with usability.
ATTENDEE LIST
I created a linked attendee list allowing quick access to alphabetised list of names, avoiding need to scroll, ultimately helping with usability.
ENGAGEMENT
The event hashtag was featured in a prominent, static place on the navigation to help drive attendees engagement.
GALLERY
A post-event photo gallery was created to allow attendees to see photography from the day within the same platform, further driving user engagement on the page.
