Conference booth conceptual design
The American Association for Cancer Research hosts an annual conference in the US that brings together the greatest minds in cancer research from all over the world. Cancer Research UK (CRUK) attends this conference to reach a global audience of researchers, research institutions, and potential partners. This brief required the development of an exhibition stand design that would be informative, engaging, and stand out against other booths at the conference.
As lead creative, I developed a concept that spotlighted CRUK’s amazing researchers. Leaning on user experience principles and audience insights, I carefully considered how every inch of space was used to optimise how people would interact with our stand and the brand that would encourage them to work with us. I also art directed a multidisciplinary team of motion designers, videographers, photographers, and copywriters to achieve a solution that surpassed client needs and increased footfall to the booth on the day.
Note: This booth features dual branding from Cancer Research UK and Cancer Research Horizons, a translational research initiative.
